Ideas to Incorporate into Your Custom Bathroom Remodeling
You can easily become overwhelmed with the variety of choices you have in just about everything having to do with a bathroom. But there are a few things that will make a noticeable difference and are things that every custom bathroom remodeling project should look at. The first is the lighting that is in the bathroom currently and how to improve the lighting. It might be worth adding some lights that are more task-oriented, such as small lights near the sink to focus on what is happening there.
Heated flooring is another option to look at adding to your custom bathroom remodeling plans. This is especially nice with a tile floor that otherwise would feel cold to the touch, even if the rest of the room is already warm from the central heating system. It is easy to add and doesn’t cost much to operate when you want it.
Storage in a bathroom is often left until the last minute, but this would be a mistake. Instead, spend a little time thinking about who would be using the bathroom and then look at ways to ensure there is enough storage space for all of the items that would be needed for those who use the bathroom.
Bath Remodeling Adds Value
When looking at what remodeling projects tend to provide the greatest return, a bath remodeling project is at the top of the list. This is because it is a room that is used regularly and one that is thoughtfully planned out and looks good is appealing to everyone. When left as an afterthought, it will decrease the home’s value. Any home in Scottsdale can benefit from the expertise of our team at Sunset Tile and Bath when it comes to a bath remodeling plan. Give us a call to learn more and speak with our team.
U.S. Army Chaplain Winfield Scott purchased 640 acres for $3.50 an acre for a stretch of land where downtown Scottsdale is now. Winfield and his brother George Washington Scott became the town’s first residents. It was soon known as “Orangedale” due to the large citrus groves the Scotts planted. Many of the community’s original settlers, recruited by Scott from the East and Midwest, were educated and had an appreciation for cultural activities. The town was renamed Scottsdale in 1894.
